Course Aims:

The Driver CPC course covers a diverse range of transport, business and safety related topics in order to meet the requirements for the new driver cpc card.

Participants:

Driver CPC is a prerequisite for the continuing ability of employees to remain employed as drivers in the haulage and passenger vehicle industries across the EU.

Participants are likely to be owner drivers or drivers of road transport companies.

Contents:

The course is split into modules to be taken over 5 years and amounting in total to 35 hours of training:

The modules cover the following topics:

  • PCV and LGV
  • Safe & fuel efficient driving
  • Vehicle load and passenger security & safety
  • Regulations affecting drivers and transport
  • Personal health, emergency procedures & 1st aid
  • Caring for your customers & employer/company

Course Length:

Each module is 7 hours. There are no examinations for the modules.
